Family Mediation Week

Monday 27th to Friday 31st January 2025

This is a week of free information and guidance on navigating your way through separation/ family and finance court processes or simply difficulties to do with parental separation.

We will also help you understand what ‘ Legal Aid’ is in mediation and how you can access this and explain the ‘Government Mediation Voucher Scheme .’ ( everyone who wishes to discuss parental arrangement is entitled to this voucher worth up to £500 of free mediation) ( Terms apply but is not means tested).

We are offering free drop in information sessions at our Milton Keynes Office on Thursday and Friday of this week from 10:00am- 6:00pm – please email for details at info@mediationmk.org or call 07850 550552 for more information or to book as session. Why not join one of the free Family Mediation Council online information sessions such as ‘A Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM) .’

This session will give you valuable insight in to MIAMs. During this session you will:

• Gain a clear understanding of what happens in a MIAM and its purpose.
• Learn about the role of a MIAM in exploring various Non-Court Dispute Resolution (NCDR) options, ensuring you are fully informed about the choices available to help you make an informed decision.
• Discover the range of issues that can be addressed during a MIAM, including how mediation arrangements can be customised to suit your specific needs.
• Hear real-life examples of how MIAMs have benefited others

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to ask the presenters any questions you may have about the MIAM process.
